How much do lip fillers cost?
Lip filler pricing varies depending on the amount of product used and the specific filler selected. Pricing is discussed during your consultation. We offer Afterpay.
Charlie Ralph Clinic provides lip filler consultations and treatments, administered by AHPRA-registered cosmetic nurses. Lip fillers use hyaluronic acid — a substance found naturally in the body — to add volume, shape, and definition to the lips. A consultation is required before any treatment to assess your suitability, discuss your goals, and explain the risks and benefits.
Lip fillers are injectable treatments that use hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers to enhance the volume, shape, and symmetry of the lips. Lip filler treatments can address thin lips, uneven lip shape, loss of lip volume due to ageing, and lip lines around the mouth. All filler products used at Charlie Ralph Clinic are TGA-approved and administered by AHPRA-registered cosmetic nurses.
Your lip filler journey begins with a thorough consultation. Your AHPRA-registered cosmetic nurse will assess your facial anatomy, lip structure, and skin quality. If treatment is suitable, a plan is created outlining the recommended product and amount. During the treatment, topical anaesthetic is applied for comfort. The filler is injected using a fine needle or cannula. The entire treatment typically takes 20 to 30 minutes.
After lip filler treatment, swelling is expected and usually most noticeable in the first 24 to 48 hours. Some bruising is common and typically resolves within 5 to 10 days. The final result is generally visible at around 2 weeks. Avoid touching or pressing on the lips for 24 hours, and avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat for 24 hours.
Lip fillers generally last between 6 and 12 months, depending on the product used, your metabolism, and lifestyle factors. Many patients choose to have maintenance treatments once or twice per year to sustain their results.
Lip filler treatments carry potential risks. Common side effects include temporary swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, and lumpiness. Less common risks include infection, cold sore reactivation, filler migration, and nodule formation. A rare but serious risk is vascular occlusion. Our practitioners are trained to recognise and manage this complication. Hyaluronic acid lip fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase if needed.
